so excited !

I can't wait to share this experience with you all! so excited!

Here we goooooo!!!!

Bonjour les amis!

I'm excited to be boarding the plane early Saturday morning following my graduation dinner and dance! Although the service-learning experience started in the classroom in late March, arriving at the airport Saturday at 3:30 a.m. will officially kick-off the adventure abroad!

I look forward to seeing the diverse landscapes of Ecuador, having intercultural exchanges, and exploring Quito and surrounding regions. I expect my placement in the classroom to be challenging at times, but nevertheless an amazing practical experience and an opportunity for self-growth!

So bring it on Ecuador!

Welcome to the Ecuador Service-Learning Experience (ESLE) 2015 blog. The ESLE is a program organized by the Student Life Office at the University of Manitoba in which participants volunteer as language assistants in different schools of the Municipality of Quito.
Students work alongside teachers from the Quito Municipal School District, our partner in Ecuador, during the month of May/June, and learn first hand about the public educational system and the culture of Ecuador.

During their placement students will contribute with their stories in this space.

Make sure to check our blog regularly to read more about what they are seeing, learning, and experiencing!
